Hood Weatherstripping

Does anyone know where I can get some weatherstripping for the hood and trunk. I am looking for the flat (maybe 1/4" thick) weatherstripping that I saw at the Cobra meet in Round Rock. I asked some one but cannot remember where to get it. Looking for some help. Thanks!

Try www.soffseal.com, part number E1085. Works perfectly for what you want,

Think twice about sealing the hood to the body. Leaving sections of stripping missing is a good way to let out some engine heat.

Hey thanks guys! That is exactly what I was looking for.

 Geez Dude, I wish you hadn't brought this up. It's just one more item missing on my "handcrafted" Holliday Motorsports Cobra replica. Tried washing this turkey one afternoon, had to jack up the front end so all the water would run out of the trunk!:D

I saw a superformance the other day and when the owner opened the hood so we could see the engine there were I think two rubber bumpers on the right and left side of the hood, attached to the body, in the middle. I don't know if they bolted on or they were a grommet type. Does anyone know what I'm talking about. I think that would allow heat from the engine to vent somewhat.

Jim...any pictures of where, under the hood, they actually get installed?

Hood bumpers

Look closely and you'll see one in the middle of the opening above the firewall and then one on either side a few inches down from the curve off the firewall edge.

Thanks Jim I new they were on the body somewhere in the engine compartment. How to they attach to the body if I may ask.

Not certain, but I believe with some adhesive or glue.
