Who's the best auto travel club?
We are looking into getting a travel auto club membership for things like towing and other breakdown issues, just in case.... Everyone knows AAA but does any one know of any other clubs, with better & more extensive quality services? One of the things I learned in the last few months is when the tow company learns it is a Cobra, the price goes up. And the service quality doesn't. I had one tow company tell me they would not handle a Cobra due to the issues in loading it on the flat bed. I would like to know of some firm that could be counted on to treat us fairly and timely. The last tow which happened to be during the Spring meet, the day of the cruise no-less, took 4 hours and we were only 10-15 miles from home, not to mention $185 in cash! No Credit cards or checks accepted! There has got to be someone offering a great service...
