Your not cutting my top off!

Especially not for another what turns into usually 75 grand extra on top of the car. They were originally going to have a removable hard top but they couldn't get it stowed in the car..now its a soft top...I saw the early cars workmanship and wasn't impressed.

I will see a finished one this weekend in Indy and we will see if they have gotten better.

Okey dokey:

First picture on that page.

"One of the most innovative aspects of Ewing's GTX1 is its configurable roof. The roof system consists of four individual hard panels. The panels can be configured as a coupe, t-top, or full convertible. Additionally, the panels are painted in the same Valencia Yellow with Tungsten Silver stripes. So, when the car is configured as a coupe, it doesn't lose any of its design appeal. GTX1 drivers won't get caught in the rain because all four panels can be stored inside the vehicle for easy access."

My understanding is the cars come with 2 tops now. The hard top can't be stowed becase there isn't enough room. The GTX1 they have here in Indy has their new soft top that can be stowed and used on the run.

So let me see if I have this right, you have to already have a Ford GT that you bring to this place and they will modify it and turn it into a GTX1, is that right? Still an awesome car.....WOW
