Mid-week Show N Shine

Hang with me here, I have a tendancy to be wordy,
A mid-week Show N Shine in the next two weeks would sandwich the monthly Saturday meet, TBD, which might be hard for some folks.
Week after that is Tulsa. Some are going, some aren't. If someone wants to organize those remaining, awesome! Go for it! :)
Otherwise, we're looking at Wed or Thur (6/20 or 6/21).
I'll toss out an idea of Keller's on Thur, 6/21 (1st Day of Summer).
Show up when you can after work.
We can hear all the stories from Tulsa about how Kristen took it cautiously, Miles kicked ass, and Steve broke this-or-that!
Whatcha think?

hey,littlecobra 05-24-2007 06:20 AM

Miles I am gonna kick your a$$!!! just wait!! You've never done a road course with me, have you......??????

Madmiles442 05-24-2007 05:31 PM

I've actually never done a road course at all but,

I'm a guy and you're a girl

And that is why I'm a better driver....

hey,littlecobra 05-24-2007 06:03 PM

I'm gonna kick yo' hiney in the b!tch.

hehe. :D don't tell him, guys, let him be surprised!!! :D :D :D

LuvDaBlues 05-24-2007 07:53 PM

Don't get me started, Miles. I'm so damn mad right now. I had Mcleod drop ship a bearing LAST WEEK before vacation so it would arrive before I returned. Some how they screwed the address up and it went to North Carolina. Now rerouted here to arrive tomorrow (Friday). But it's never that easy, I'm sure I'll need some other part, or it won't fit, and everything will be closed until Tuesday. So if it's back together, I'll be there.

Don't forget the intermediate Woodard cruise.

Here's to grease under the finger nails.

Madmiles442 05-24-2007 10:33 PM

I TOTALLY know what you mean, Steve. It wouldn't be a crawl under the car without a part run.
Then this-or-that comes in late....Mine's still not back together and the steering wheel hub adapter was supposed to come in Monday!
Let's all raise a glass to grease under the fingernails!

Wait, K, klck my hiney in the b!tch, or kick my b!tch in the hiney? No offense, girl, I love you like crazy, but my little Amy can bench press a Mini!
Now if you're coming after MY hiney, then we have some cervezas lined up!
Bartender! Line up some cold ones for me and the little lady!

hey,littlecobra 05-25-2007 05:34 AM

I will let Elaine know that lots of others agree with my priorities.....(not that it will help..hehehehe)

392cobra 05-25-2007 05:01 PM

When you are at the top there are always peons trying to pull you down.....!!!
   ;)

I am gonna kick a$$ in Tulsa! Sending in my registration TODAY!

jshel1 05-26-2007 08:50 AM

For some reason, I always had the mental picture of pee-on.

peon
1: a. an unskilled laborer or farm worker of Latin America or the southwestern United States b.such a laborer bound in servitude to a landlord creditor.
2: a native Indian or Ceylonese messenger, servant, or foot soldier.
3: any menial worker; a drudge
[Spanish peon, Portuguese peao, French pion, all from Medieval Latin pedo]

hey,littlecobra 05-26-2007 09:09 AM

yikes!!!

alright.... let me see.... I'll change my vocabulary......
hmmmm

hey, John. You going to Tulsa to watch me kick a$$?

and... just to un hijack this thread from Tulsa,
I'm 'up' for a show and shine at Keller's or wherever in a 'mid-week'. :D

I'll shoot for the 21st or whatever as well. ;)

:D K

jshel1 05-26-2007 09:59 AM

pee-on, peon
tomaaato, tomoto
all might be referred to as capons if you perform so well in Tulsa.

As far as Tulsa... money going to kid's car insurance and all the other hurdles that I encounter on the way to make deposits to that speical fund. When the time comes, it will all be divested and split between a small company located in Lee's Summit, MO and an "up and coming" outfit in Arkadelphia, AR. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Clause.

I am up for an after work, beer and burgers run. Kellers on Harry Hines or Northwest Hwy works well for me, if thats the decision for an evening show and shine.

jdean 05-26-2007 04:00 PM

Yes, lets get the Mid-week going. We could meet to eat dinner somewhere, like before, then drive over to Kellers around 8:30-ish.

Kinda like we did last time when Kristen "did not do a burnout". :)
