my Tulsa
While everyone is getting ready for a whole bunch of fun in Tulsa this week, I just got back on Sunday from my early trip. Sorry that I will miss the Texas Corner Weekend for only the second time in ten years:CRY:
The auction last week was a major disaster for sellers. One cobra replica sold for $16,000 and three more never reached the 30K mark. All cars went amazingly cheap. Only one of my cars sold. Three never got anywhere near their reserve. I did buy (stole) a 1976 Bronco and 1967 Camaro :D Aaaaannnnnddddd I did buy my first original Shelby:3DSMILE: 1969 Shelby GT 500. All original except for paint, numbers matching car in the registry complete with Marti report. All cars should be delivered this week by Reliable. When ya'll get back from Tulsa come visit. Thanks for letting me hang with you and the wildman Richard Fri. and Sat. I got to go up on the stage and dance around with Jay and Richard while some very nice cars rolled across both auction stages. It was a buyers market example: 1990 ZR-1 Corvette Black on Black, perfect in every way with 27,000 original miles brought $21,000.00. Some of the cars were not so nice to and they brought what they were worth and some of the very nice cars didn't. Clois |

NO tech session until Thursday morning. It goes pretty smooth at the race track. You will want to register and pick up your packets Wednesday evening at 6:00 at the Marriott second floor, that will save you a lot of hassels I hope you can make it over to my house for a while afterwards.
