2007 Fall Gathering
 

The Houston Chapter of the TCC wants to welcome everyone to the 3rd Annual TCC Fall Gathering on Lake Conroe, October 12th, 13th and 14th. We want everyone to join us at the KOA Campgrounds for a relaxing time and enjoy the great Texas Fall driving weather. It will be a wonderful time to get together and enjoy everyone’s company before the driving season winds down for the winter.
We will meet at the Houston North KOA Friday afternoon to visit. Saturday we will strike out on a drive through countryside. We will make our way back to Lake Conroe in time to watch the sun set. As in the past the plan will be drive, eat, drive, drink and then start over again.
This year is a little different with the closing of the Del Lago resort. It took a little time to find a place that met the parking requirement for all the portable garages. KOA has 35 one and two bedroom cabins most of which surround a small lake. It’s a wonderful setting and suites the club perfectly.

The prices are $95/night for cabins off the lake, $120/night for single bedroom on the lake, and $165/night for the two bedroom cabins on the lake. Don’t forget to mention you with the Cobra Club when making your reservations. They couldn’t promise anything but they did say they would try to keep us together. They may want to segregate us from the rest of the patrons.
We will post more on the Saturday drive as we work out the details. One thing is for sure we will find some twisting trails for a spirited drive through the beautiful Texas landscape.

If... my son didn't have a 'home' varsity fb game, and my girls didn't have 'home' soccer then volleyball games i'd make it. I would like to come down friday evening, cruise around for x amount of time, then zip home. In the 500 of course....
And make it back just in time to make that wedding that I'm going to instead of run n gun. So many choices so many choices. If there is ANY WAY i can make it work for friday/into saturday 'day', i'll pop down. :)
