So...I finally get my 'Green Snake' finished and it seems as though no-one down here in Austin 'meets' any more for breakfasts!!! :( Am I persona non grata or have we all just lost interest?
Seriously, I haven't seen any posts lately about Austin folks getting together and I just wondered if anyone is up for a breakfast somewhere next weekend (October 20th)???? Glyn |

But... i don't think i had to have an invitation, i just joined. can't remember! anyway, here ya go! :) |
Hey Glyn! We do still get together but we have sort of dropped off lately. In fact there is a drive trhough the hill country on Sunday that you may be interested in. You should give me a call.

Thanks Guys...I am out of town this weekend, but next time there's a 'function', someone 'PING' me would you???

Glyn, we suggest you follow the Yahoo group posts. We post there for the local club activities. It's just easier that trying to keep up with posts in both Yahoo and ClubCobra forums. If you still want to do a run on the 20th, just post whatever you want to do and see who goes for it. There are a number of folks looking for any reason to get their rides out and blow out the carbon.
Just so you know, a group of us had met some time ago and decided the 2nd Saturday of the month would be our official club meeting/activity date but that doesn't mean we can't do other things during the rest of the month. I myself am willing to support such things as we did not get into this hobby to have a 4 wheeled garage anchor. BTW, Glad to hear your willing to get your new ride out! Had heard you did such a good job on the build, you didn't want to get it dirty....LOL Mike |
Mike...LOL...I stop every mile or so with a container of Maguire's and some Mother's Aluminum polish and make sure it stays shiny...not good for being early for anything, but what the heck!!!!
Glyn PS, where ARE the 'Yahoo group posts'????? |
Glyn, Mike is right, join the yahoo group and you will find out what is happening here in Austin. I just got mine back on the road and am interested in a drive, however I am not free until 11/3.
