Miles,

How did they ever catch you ? The helicopter just waited for you to run out of gas ?

Madmiles442 02-09-2008 07:31 AM

You know John, you can outrun the patrol cars, but you can't outrun that radio!

hey,littlecobra 02-09-2008 07:42 AM

Rumor has it, a friend of mine recently reported taking his GT-40 up to 175 mph on a highway somewhere near the west coast (mainland). He reported the car felt exceptionally stable and there was throttle left to play with.

Madmiles442 02-09-2008 07:02 PM

Not at Lew Sterrett, I did that 152 mph insanity on highway 71, outside of Austin.
City of Austin - Municipal Court - Fine Schedules
Let's see,
Speeding $297
Failure to Control Speed $196
And after being pulled over,
Human Waste $115

hey,littlecobra 02-09-2008 07:55 PM

ha! when was this???

Miles,

Interesting....down the list of fines, a pedestrian walking in a roadway fine is more than doing 150MPH. Go figure.

Miles:

You could be in jail for your lack of equanimity...speed driving should be contained to a track. What if? As soon as my left foot recovers from its most recent trauma, I'll book some track time and we'll let it all hang out...without the sticky note. Hehehehe.
