New Paint Touch Up
I found the neatest new way to hide those embarassing little paint nicks on the side of the Cobra!!
http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/IMG_0410.JPG I learned the space between the "gills" and the pipe opening on the driver's side is 1/2" shorter than on the passenger's side. Therefore, the driver's side "Goodyear" got trimmed a bit at the bottom. We'll see how it likes it's new neighbor, the 1000 degree sidepipe. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/IMG_0407.JPG 62 and sunny. Yall went for a drive today, right? |
Very nice Miles,
Adhesive or static cling? |
All static.
The Terlingua and Shell are adhesive decals stuck over the extra #70 roundel static that I didn't put on the hood. Sorry I couldn't make it yesterday, Steve. Got wrapped up in family stuff and couldn't escape. |
looks good Miles.

well..... can't wait to see the size and kind of decal you used on the oil-cooler scoop. It just needs a 'little bit' of touch up, huh??? ;) :D :D :D :D

Miles,
Looking good buddy. Weather looks good for the weekend think there would be any interest in a cruise in? I can’t remember the name of that Burger place we cruised last year but we can always cruise the Sonic at Coit and Parker. My car might even make it that far but need to get the doors and trunk bolted back on. Gary |
Capital idea, Gary, I was just thinking the same thing!
Nice weather (especially on Sunday) in mid-Feb and Amy's on Girl's Weekend? Time for a cruise!! I'll start a thread! |
Looks really nice and all, but personally I'd be concerned of header heat melting that Goodyear sticker permanently to the paint work. Or worse...it gets a little cinged/cooked (perhaps that's the look you're after...racing patina! )

I could use one of those oil cooler stickers too. Which one?...lol

After getting the estimates and peeling Amy off the ceiling, I've temporarily repaired the oil cooler with black Gorilla tape. Doesn't look too terribly bad, and I'm a stickler. Saving my pennies and dimes for the real repair. |
