Tremec Trans ID
My daughter bought a '92 Mustang GTand it has a Tremec transmission in it. She was told it is a TKO and that's all she knows. Does anyone know how to see what type it is. It would probably be good to know if you have to do any work on it.

There will be a tag on the transmission it will be on the pass. side where the two case halves bolt together, get me all those numbers and I can tell you which transmission is in her Mustang.

I would guess it's a t5, I bought a 93 and thats what was in it

The T-5 was changed out by a previous owner to the Tremec. Steve:D |
