Austin's June Cruise
In case you haven't been watching the Yahoo Group site. Here 'tis! As usual, Mike has come up with a great route!
Since some of us are having breakfast at Rudy's (@ 11570 Research Blvd just south of Duval), Mike designed the ride to go long enough to create an appetite. We will go down to the Salt Lick for lunch. Travel time is estimated to be 2 hrs 18 minutes and we will add time for a stop at the Texaco in Driftwood for photos. Assuming the photos won't take long, we should be at the Salt Lick noon-ish. Distance is roughly 70 miles. For those having breakfast, meet at Rudy's at 8:15 AM which will give us 45 minutes to have a beverage of choice and tacos. For the cruise, meet at 9 AM at Rudy's and leave at 9:20AM sharp. Anyone running late should call us to let us know so we can then adjust accordingly. I will have printed directions available. Show your spirit by wearing your Cobra attire. See you there and remember sun screen. See y'all there! Steve:D |
Be there
I am ready for the cruise. It will be great to see everyone again. Plus Rudy's Breakfast Tacos. Man what a feast.

Greg,
I'm looking forward to finally meeting you. Should be a great cruise. Mike really picks some cool routes. I think we will have 8 Cobras this time, unless some folks come at the last minute. See you there, Steve:D |
Steve,

Austin's June Cruise
Well, it was a great day. It only got to 98 degrees! We had seven Cobras roaring through the hills and back roads. Breakfast and lunch together was really a lot of fun. Mike thanks for picking the route and leading us. Greg it was really good to meet you and thanks again for your sacrifices in Iraq.
I would put up a cool picture of us, but I can't figure out how to do it where you can still see it. Sorry. See y'all next run, Steve:D |
Great Time
It was probably one of the best meeting gatherings we have had in a long time. & Cobras and plenty of people. I know there are more people in Austin with Cobras. Just need to connect with them and get everyone together.
Thanks again for a Cobra fix. Gregg H |
Had a great time!
Gregg, thanks for riding with me! It was an honor!
Great to see everyone, and the Salt Like was awsome! Tom |
