So How's The Weather In Tulsa?

Got delayed a day and planning on leaving Thursday am and was wonder how the weather is up there as I see forecast is calling for 30% thunderstorms for most of this week?

thinking about driving up in the 500 on saturday..... don't want Paddy to get wet. ;) :LOL:

Today was clear, hot and windy.

Maybe wet tomorrow or maybe not. Bunch of people here for sure.

Saturday's weather is forecasted to be sunny and mid-80's. :):):)

Carrol Shelby, Bernie Knight, The Hersch, Clois, James Y., Dean (Fastest RCR-GT 40 in History) L., all T.I.T. Members, Scot Stevens and all of track management at Hallett, most of the Cobra owners from Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana asked "Where is HLC?" Even Steve "Oh Sh!t what's that sound Eight" were wondering where is the missing link?

Why don't you hire one of your neighbor's teenagers to hang out with your kids for Sat. and Sun. am and give them a break?

Yep, it rained yesterday but some of us got our cars out on a wet track and then about 2:30 the sun came out and we got the track a little warm and we got a little speed up but there was more than a few cars in each session until the last few sessions.

Today is going to be one of those days that makes you want to come back. A little fog this morning and clear skies all day. Drags on the east side and those true thrashers will be at the road course at Hallett. We are running the track backwards today Fast, very fast if you're a pretty good driver. If not you are going to have less fun. Mad Miles, Larry Reyburn, James Yale, Lew Payne, Dean Lampe, Mat Twiehaus, Johnathan Blevins, Steve Sykes (less fortunate), Dave Fergusson, Buzz Marr, John Ross, and others that visit here that I know I am forgetting will be heating up the tires today. Even Hershecl Byrd and Bernie Knight made it to the track yesterday. Kristen we miss you!

Pictures to follow in the next reporting by someone other than myself but there will not be any pictures of me taking a female passenger and going off roading because it is only a rumor. :)

well a whirlwind trip for me. Fortunately, quite fun bringing the 500.
that turnpike (those turnpikes) were MADE for the 500!!! :D :D :D

maybe next year will be better for me.

It was good to see you again Kristen. I'm glad you made it there this year. I just wished you were on the track showing those boys what racing is all about!!!
