Cobra opportunities currently on the market

For those of you in the group looking for a ride. There are several cobras for sale that that I thought might be of interest.

One is listed in www.CobraCountry.com - it is a Superformance SN2742 do a search. on the SN, He just dropped the price $10,000 to 49,000. Built in 4Q2007 as mine was the SN before #2741.

The second is on Ebay (beleive or not) and has a reserve of $39,000 (ebay item# 220264149029, Superformance #1620 with 1900 miles. Built in 2003

The third is also on Ebay (item# 150278353460) with a reserve of 42,000 but seller will negotiate with lower offer. Superformance SN 1891 with 14 miles. Built it and parked it (guessing 2004). Seller may be a dealer, or seller has it consigned.

On ebay - do a search for "1965 Superformance Cobra" there is 1 or 2 more that are jsut unbelievable value for the build.

What about the Superformance Legendary Motorsports has listed on Ebay; a roller starting at $30,000....and no bidders so far! Its under "Other Vehicles" Maybe a typo? Reminds me of those "specials" everyone was running last Spring!

Powerslide, the Superformance on ebay is not a typo ..........there is a reserve! 30K is the starting point...

Too bad these are not investment grade cars- you can buy one everyday if you want to.

What makes one an investment grade car?

And thanks to all who post up these cars for sale. Those of us who are on the lookout appreciate it.

There's a nearly endless supply of cars, so it's not like buying a rare car that's out of production. Depending on the price that you buy at (new or used), you can expect a certain amount of depreciation (that will level out at some point).

Ok, I see. I misread TXHOOD's post. I thought that he was referring to merely the cars subject of this post as not being investment grade, when he apparently was referring to Cobra replicas as a whole. Thanks.

This appears incorrect "One is listed in www.CobraCountry.com - it is a Superformance SN2742 do a search. on the SN, He just dropped the price $10,000 to 49,000. Built in 4Q2007 as mine was the SN before #2741."

The add indicates it was reduced to 59K, but then again what is 10K good for these days.
