Clean Sweep - Plano West Basketball

Regretfully, I had to miss the December meeting, I wasn't sure what time my son, and the rest of the PW cast would play.

2 tournament events (Halton City and Royce City) - I put over 500 miles on my car since Thursday. The tournaments ended Saturday around 4 PM.

In the championship game, PW Sr High Varsity Won, JV Won, 10th Grade Won, and the 9th grade Won as well. The largest margin of vistory was V, JV, and 10th was 3 points, the 9th grade - blowout. My tenths grader scored 67 points in his 3 games.

Season is still young - we'll wait to see how they finish out.

Congrats Francis!

We're ex-Plano ISD here .. our son went to Shepton for 9 and 10. I recall it was at the site where Plano West SH is now. He moved up to PSH since we were closer to that school. Good luck with the rest of the season! Good thing gas is free now :D

Proud Parents And Cobra Highway Miles

500 miles since Thursday... you probably got a good feel for your mileage by now, Francis. How does that Craft 408 do out on the highway?

Congrats... superstars abound in Texas Club Cobra; kids in football, basketball, soccer, volleyball. You all can be proud.

way to go, Francis!
these sports are never ending, but of course it's what we do for our kids.
I hope they continue to do well.

jshel.. The mileage on the car is way better than ever imagined - surprising. Last weekend I averaged a tad over 18 mpg - not that it matters when your pushing 540hp/490tq in a 408, and an 0.82OD Tremec. I would say nearly 95% highway. I am sure that with the 0.63OD Tremec the mileage would improve as well (guessing 2-3 mpg).

One noticeable item, is that once you let off the gas, the car really begins to slow down. There is enough rolling resistance even with the 0.82 that the speed drops off. Probably, not so noticeable with the 0.62.

My only concern was leaving the car un-attended for about 1:15 minutes. but the schools had local police in the parking lot.

I am really impressed with the mileage; I would have guessed steel flywheel until I read about the speed drop off when you let off the loud pedal... just curious, steel, lightened steel or aluminum?

it's a 157 tooth, 28 oz balance flywheel with Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch

We can talk on Jan 3. See you then

Francis
