Boerne Cobra Club Thanks The TCA!
The Boerne Cobra Club thanks the Texas Corvette Association for providing such a fine escort to our Cobra's on the TCA's Hill Country Cruise on Sunday April 19th. See attached photo. Dave Depriest and I had our Cobra's in the cruise and we were escorted by app. 100 Corvettes.
The TCA had their Open Show in Boerne this past Saturday and I won "Best in Class. Unfortunately, I was the only entry in the "X" class. Lot of fun for my first show and was pleased to be introduced to other Cobra owners in the area. There is actually a good chance that the Boerne Cobra Club will grow beyond a single member. My deer damaged Cobra went in the shop this morning to have the paint repaired. Kudo's go out to Midwest Classic insurance for getting my claim processed painlessly and quickly. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...ort_small2.jpg |
Similar Experience
During the Spring Meet Hill Country Cruise, Ray Russell and I ran into about 50+ Corvettes in Wimberley. We cruised with the Corvettes for around a half an hour before we decided to head back to the Hotel. They were taking photos of us as we cruised along side of them.

Heh heh, in that picture you look like a Rhode Island Red rooster in with a
bunch of Cornish game hens. I see you got your headlight beauty ring back on too. Stay away from those pesky deer! Wonder what the other car driver thought about the flying deer that he ran into? Nice meeting you at the Austin spring Fling. |
