What a great turnout. What was the final count 22. It was a great day to debut my car. Thanks everyone for their nice comments, I am very pleased with how the car looks and runs.

It was Great to see some folks that have been holed-up for the last little while.
It was Great to meet some new folks. It was Great to see damdfw's CSX hit the streets (congrats again !) Wow, that was nice. What a great group of people. I expected to see a few cobras, but I was pleasently surprised that there were so many nice folks AND nice cars at the meeting. I enjoyed meeting some of you and looking at your cars. Special thanks to you Sam for taking the time to show me around and then giving me a ride. I appreciate it! Welcome again, John! Stay tuned here .. there are more ways to see Cobras exhibit their native behavior. We're going to run at least five cars this Friday at TMS .. come spectate if you can.
I imagine we will do the fourth saturday thing at C&C again. And the October monthly luncheon will be the first Sat in Oct. Check in here the week of and see where. If you want to ride to the meet, just post a request and someone in your area will speak up. Sam |

Arriving at 7:00 am, driver's meeting at 7:30, first run group (HP4) out at 8am for 30 minutes followed by HP3, HP2, and HP1 from 9:30 to 10 am is my guess. I don't know if TDE will be allowing passenger rides in participant's cars. Maybe we'll see you there.

They will probably not allow riders in the Cobras. But spectators are free admission. Come in through the south tunnel.

As the "new guy" you always wonder what the reception will be--thanks for making me feel welcome. Glad I could add my ride to tie the club record of twenty two, I'm making my plans for to add one more for Austin in March!

I may be the next "new guy"!!!!! I am moving back to Dallas after some 20 years in Austin, and would love to join everyone at the October get together. I met a few of you at the last couple of Texas get-togethers, so I hope some of you will accept an Englishman into your group. I promise to try and get a good reference letter from the Austin folks...jeez, better check they'll say nice things...LOL
