New Cobra owner
Hello all,
John Ross suggested I pen a note of introduction. I'm Richard Rogers, a "Newbie," on second thought I'm too old to be a "Newbie anything " so let's just say I'm the proud new owner of a Red BDR Cobra. John was kind enough to let me ride with him to one of your Saturday brunches (Origional Pancake House) where I met a number of really nice folks including a fellow Austin Healey owner (ever notice how much the 100-4 looks like a Cobra?). John and the folks on this forum helped me understand what I did and didn't want and now I too have to slip quietly out of the 'hood for a early morning bug kill before Saturday golf. The guys over @ C&S have been great helping me tune, upgrade and conquer (hopefully) a clutch slave issue with the third new unit in less than six weeks (anyone else ever have that issue?). All that being said I look forward to being a part of the Cobra community and getting to know each and every one of the Texas Cobra Club members. Sincerely, Richard |
Hi Richard,
Sorry you had to start your DFW Cobra experience with John Ross. Trust me, it can only get better!!:LOL::LOL: Welcome! The monthly meeting is this Saturday, so shine the beast up and join us. Check other thread for info. |
Welcome!
Richard, we met at the event you attended. I recall our discussion about the merits of the various brands of replica. Glad you picked one and jumped in the water :D Let the fun begin!

Welcome
Welcome to the fun Richard. I saw your car at C&S. They are working on my car there as well. I hope to meet you soon. This group welcomes you with our without a car so try to make the meeting/get together this weekend.

Welcome to the Texas Cobra Club. See you in March at the big shindig.

Richard,
I believe we met at Cafe Brazil at the beginning of summer, if my memory correct? Hope Rob can solve your clutch issue asap... AAA premium gives me piece of mind, along with having the DFW CC vanguard on speed dial. |
First meeting
I stand corrected, my first introduction to the Texas Cobra Club was indeed the Cafe Brazil, not OPH.However lest one suggest my powers of recall are less than 100% I vividly recall each and every Cobra that was parked in the lot. I 'm looking forward to adding my car to the group!

We look forward to having you in the group.
