Tranny throwing oil problem solved.
I had a problem with my aluminum 3spd with OD throwing oil out the breather vent in the top cover.
When I got a new OEM gasket set, the top plate gasket only had two breather vent holes punched in fore and aft. The one I replaced had five, dispersed randomly over the gasket surface. The five caused too much oil splash getting onto the top of the gasket and out the breather. Something to think about if you ever need to go into your top loader. It sure had me fooled. |
