I used it in my GT40 and I loved it. I thought it was easier than the quarter master triple disk and it is definitely lighter than any aluminum flywheel set up with standard size clutch. It was so light it really changed the way the engine felt. It rev's so fast it sounded like and F1 car.

It was great talking with you today, Dean. Good luck with the engine and the project. As far as the Magnum Force clutch, did you run the two or three disk version? How was it on the street for drivability and durability, and do you remember the cost? Thanks!

I ran the 2 disk version. It was just like a regular clutch. It wasn't the kind that was just on and off. I really think it is about as good as you can get. The price was, well, "negotiated". I was doing a lot of magazine stuff with the GT40 so we got a lot of stuff at crazy discounts. It is very pricey but how fast do you want to be!;)

Understand, and thanks. I don't think any magazines would be intersted in my build, as they wouln't be publishing anything of substance for years!

thanks dean.
the guy i'm in correspondence with says it was set up for a 302. it has the 50 oz. wt. on it which i should be able to switch out, cut down, or take off. regarding being set up for a 302, he says there are washers or spacers that are used to fine tune the clutch.
you know anything about this?
