It's not horsepower or torque related, it's car manufacturer/design related.

You have mechanical actuation, cable, and hydraulic (slave cylinder or hydraulic throw out bearing). I don't know of any Cobras with Z-bar and pushrod actuation like the old cars and there are just a few Cobras with cable setups (some FFR's, etc.) Most are hydraulic.

You can actuate any clutch with any method, no matter if it's 100hp or 1000.

I do have the Tilton hydraulic clutch, but I meant the clutch fork & throwout bearing. Sorry for the confusion guys.
