tremec transmission question?

when i built my 342 with mass flo fuel injection i used a tremec 3550 trans because i was running efi i used a vss sensor in the transmission to conncet the speedometer cable. on my 445 i will be running a carb what do you use to connect the speeo cable on a tko 600 and does it come with the transmission?.

I assume you have an electronic speedo in which case you can just use the connection you already have but if not you can buy a speedo gear and mechanical cable from ebay (pink assuming 26" tires and 3.50 rearend).

It can accept either mechanical or electronic sensor. I have both a 3550 and a TKO 600 in my garage. Actually, you can get an app on your cell phone that will double as a speedometer if you like.

Seriously, you will be fine going to a carb.

There is a mechanical port on the driver's side for your mechanical speedo.
