Fluid on top of Tremec 600

Noticed some fluid on top of trans- green stuff near the breather and yellow, almost looks like eng oil but there are no oil leaks anywhere. Noticed slight grind shifting into 2nd and more so into 3rd. Thinking perhaps overfull and leaking once hot thru breather but have not pulled plug yet. The 2 different colored fluids has me stumped. Grind is worse when cold.

Check you clutch master inside on the foot box. We often have to replace them before delivery or adjust pedal alignment to the piston. Hope they put an adjustable pushrod on your slave cylinder, you'll need that as your clutch wears in.

Jay

Already replaced the leaky cylinder with a Willwood cylinder and it does have adjustable sleeve. I am hoping the fluid is just from trans being overfilled but that does not explain both yellow and green fluids.

Adjustable pushrod on the slave... Sounds like a little Tremec sealer. Make sure piston rod to the master is a straight push on the pedal or you will just wear the bore again.

You sure no leaks from the intake manifold? Or when you replaced it?
