TKO 600 sloppy in 4th

Shifter feels "sloppy" in 4th gear position, it doesn't pop out of gear or anything of that nature it just doesn't feel tight as it does in all other gears. Is there an adjustment? Any thoughts?

Thx

Does it have an aftermarket shifter?

I did a dry-up this last summer on mine and found 4Th gear had play as the fork oscillated in the slider. The plastic "feet" had worn away allowing metal to metal contact.

If you decide to get this looked at, get the brass sliders they have on the market BEFORE you have the work done. Also, if it is worn, have it welded and ground to make up the worn area. The weld will be cheaper then a new fork - if you can get one.

After the work, use super shift or other slimmy lub over the ATF.

Just my opinion. Hope this helps!
