bellhousing alignment for BBF quicktime to t-56

I am adapting a t-56 magnum Ford trans. to a 460 style ford block via a quicktime bellhousing .According to quicktime you need to remove the front plate of the trans. and bolt it to the bellhousing in order to check for proper alignment .Tremec says not to do it since they gave quicktime all their dimensions so alignment is not necessary ? Some how I can,t trust quicktime to make all there bells precise . Any suggestions ?

You're not aligning the transmission to the bell housing, you're aligning the bell housing to the block.

I second needing to check alignmnet of the bellhousing to the block. Tremic was missing the point of the question. Good thing is that most people, including myself, find Quicktime bellhousings align very well right out of the box - but still need to check.
