C-4 help!!!
putting my C-4 back together tonight and guy who rebuilt the tranny ...(shop) left me with a oring in a box attached to tranny ...what would this be for? speedo?
Is there a o ring on the input shaft by chance? it is the exact same size as speedo o ring. Input shaft have a o ring?

If its an earlier C4 with dipstick tube that push's into trans body rather than bolting onto pan it could be for that. A lot of trans kits have enough o-rings to serve all variations/updates, but my guess is either dip stick or speedo cable end. Can you not contact the shop guy on After Hours #? No O-rings on input shaft of that size that I can think of and nothing else that can be fitted after assy..

thanks alot ..I have determined that it is the speedo cable oring ...at least I am pretty darn sure it is
