Shifters

The transmission guy I am corresponding with recommended a shifter with stops for my T3550. Anyone used a Steeda or Pro5 shifter and did you like it?

I have personally used the Pro 5.0 and found it a little notchy on a 3650 in a Mustang, but have also used them on T-45's and they shifted slick.

My customers have all really liked the Steeda Tri-Ax.

I would lean towards the Steeda.

Thanks Brent. That's exactly what I was looking for. Liberty Gear also is sending me a new slider as well.

I have the MGW on my TKO600 and really like it.

I have a Steeda on a A-5 (beefed up T-5 by Astro). Very smooth shifting.

MGW is great. It nicely centers between the 3-4 shift when you move it out of second gear. No more missing third by trying to muscle the shift.

I have a Pro5 on my TKO II. It's not the smoothest shifter I ever used but it is a huge improvement over the stock shifter.

Pro5

I aggree, Pro5 is better then stock but it isn't the smoothest!

I did go with the Steedac and it's been working great. The adjustable stops help much.
