Transmission Jacks?

Has anyone bought one of the floor type transmission jacks from Harbour Freight? If so, would you recommend one?

I was thinking of getting one to put in my trailer for those times when I have to pull my tranny at the race track or at home by myself.

Forget Harbour Frieght unless you want a one-time use jack. For a quality jack, check out Walker-Lincoln on the internet. Or, just make a visit to Sam's. They have some good stuff.

Went and looked at the Harbor model....I passed. Drove over to one of our supply houses and found a much sturdier model for about twice as much but I am thinking if I am pulling the transmission by myself it would be a big help. Toploaders are very heavy when your under the car on your back.

Purchased my trans jack last night and I pulled my toploader to replace a line on my hydraulic throwout bearing. This jack made the whole job go so easy. I wish I had bought this jack sooner. This jack makes the job so much easier. The whole job (round trip) took me less than two hours.

Now, if I can just get my hyd throw out bearing completly bleed!
