Finding Parts

A dear dear freind of mine is rebuidling a 67 shelby and everyhting is almost set, she is just having a little trouble with finding some things in her area.. she is looking for "Stock Ford 351 cubic inch Windsor Four-barrel carburetor with Cruisamatic transmission H-D-7" and "Ford Toploader 4 speed or a C-6 Ford automatic transmission" if you know anyone in the michigan area that might be able to help it would be very helpful

Just tell your friend to start calling the wrecking yards. Everything but the 4spd should be available there. I think finding a "cruis-o-matic" hooked up to a 351 might be a little tough. They used c-4 & c-6 depending on the year and application.

See David Kee's ad on this site for top loaders.

FWIW, if she's got a Shelby, it would be worth her while to put original parts back. The 67 GT350 had a 302...the 351 didn't arrive until '69.
If it came with an automatic, she would have to find another pedal unit for the clutch. If it came with a four-speed, as mentioned earlier, David Kee is the guy to go to.
Good Luck,

Dan
