c6 rebuild
has anyone here rebuilt a c6? I was thinking of doing it myself. The kits are only about 100 bucks. The reason i want to rebuild it is that when i put my new engine in, i discovered in the converter dextron and type F mixed. I would like to change the fluid but somebody who i trust told me that changing the transmission fluid would break loose dirt that could ruin the valvebody. Anyone else agree with that? It's in a pick up and i haven't noticed any slipping except that the RPM's are about 300 higher than when it's warmed up.Thanks for any help.
