toploader trouble

[Last night while driving home my toploader started screaming in 4th gear. I pulled over and started off slow,1,2,3 are ok but 4th howles and vibrates the stick badly.I have only had my ERA for 2 weeks and I am in a state of depression.has any one else ever had this happen ? If so why only 4th gear?

Sorry for your trouble , I would call and ask David Kee toploaders (advertiser on this form)
what the problem is .
On a good note , the trans does come out easy . If you got it from Peter give him a call ,
he could send it out for you . (drain it )
I had a local guy go over mine when I changed engines . He charged me almost nothing .

Does 4th gear howl at all times? Even at extremely low speeds? Or does it do it when you're up and running at a higher speed?
