More Clutch Fun!!
Just found out that my 67 has a T-10 side loader that has been matched with a Hydraulic Slave cylinder for my hydraulic clutch. The problem is the mechanics I've checked with are having a hard time finding a match for this cylinder as it is no good. I have located one on line but how do I know if it fits my set up? The one the mechanic found in Ohio quoted $400 smackers, and the one I found in Southern California was about $60 bucks. With out setting them side by side, how would you check for the real Slave cylinder? I know...Newcobraguy doesn't know diddly! I was just hoping for a fix before the 4th weekend but it doesn't look good. Any one know of a quick answer in northern California?

If you can post a picture of the slave with a 6 inch ruler next to it, we could probably be better prepared to offer an opinion. 400 bucks for a slave sounds like it's made from gold...... or the guy quoting the price is late on paying his mortgage! 60 bucks is right in the ball park for most slave clyinders.
