CLutch aligning tool Help

Hello all,
I have a 427 FE with a toploader and I am trying to locate a clutch aligning tool to install my clutch this weekend. I have called around and seem to find a place that has one. Do they make a clutch tool for this?

THanks

I bought a clutch aligning tool from Summit Racing. You just need to know the trans input shaft diameter and the number of splines. Summit usually has everything in stock and they ship the same day (if you order early enough). The tool is plastic but it works fine.

Priobe Try a speed shop or pep boys or autozone. They sell a unversial kit for all clutches. Try Matco,Mac or Snap-on tool man. You will pay more. Rick Lake

Make sure you have a snug fit with your pilot bushing hole. Wrap electrical tape around the tip of the alignment tool if there is play inside the hole.
