Super T10 oil

I currently run Castrol EPX 80W/90 extreme pressure hypoid oil in my Super T10 4 speed box.
I received an email today asking what oil I used in my box and it got me thinking was this the right oil or is there something better I should be using.
Awaiting your comments,
Bryan

Bryan,

I called Richmond before I put anything in my Super T-10 and asked what I should use. They have their own oils but they also recommended, which I am using BFL Manual Trans/Rear End Synthetic Blend by Lakewood Industries, part Number 32950. Lakewood are the people who make the bellhousings. It is a 75W-90W blend, it looks like automatic trans fluid (red). The one thing Richmond told me is do not use any oil that has an additive like for a limited slip diff. in it.

I am using a regular T-10 60's vintage. I'm using Redline MTL. It is a 75W/80W GL-4 Gear oil. So far it seems to be ok.???

Rick
