T56 Shifter Location, Help!
Anyone with a T56 in their Cobra? Was the shifter location ok or did you have to southern engineer something like the toploader? Theres a member from Australia who moved his shifter up about a foot onto the trans. Id like to know how he did that. Michael:rolleyes:

mike moved my t56 shifter as i found it too far back in the cobra, you can look at my gallery, has it in the old position and in the new.
Mike says its easy to you just need really big Ball$ that why i gave it to him to do :eek:

I eamiled the co. I bought mine from and they havnt emailed back. I'll try someone from the mfg and see what gives. It cant be that hard or they woudnt have made the trans that way from the beggining. Michael

Justbetter, what kind if kit do you have and what mods did you have to do to get the T56 installed? Trans Mount? Trans tunnel? I tgried emailing Mike but his server isnt accepting emails from here I guess, Can you ask him to email me with the fix at Michael4yah@msn.com Thanks
