I was just wondering if anybody know what transmissions fit behind a 351 m, and i would like to know. if you could use a car transmission and what kind and yrs would help.

351 M's use the same pattern as a 429/460. Any trans/bellhousing that fits a 429/460 will work. I have seen FMX,C6, and manual trans in cars behind one. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some type of AOD in later trucks that had 460s.
