SPF Shifter and TKO 600

The holes in my original style shifter does not match up with the holes in the TKO shifter stem. Anyone else have this problem?

What trans were you running before?
I have swapped a 3550 for a TKO600 and it was a direct fit on the shifter handle.

I bought a Steeda shifter for a TKO but the holes were too small for my T-600. I just opened the holes up a little with a drill and it slides right on. As long as you're not constantly bangin' your shifts I don't see where it hurts anything.

That is what I would recommend also, you can use a die grinder and open up your holes enough to fit the pattern of the TKO shifter. Try and not open them up too much, or your shifter could move a little.

I had the same problem. I just had to drill out the holes on my shifter to match the size on my TKO 600. Easy job on a drill press!
