TKO 500 Leak
When pulling off my TKO 500 to my surprise, before eptying the oil from it, all of the oil or a lot of it poured out from the output side of the tranny where the drive shaft would be input. What gives?

TKO Leak
You don't have a leak. The driveshaft yoke seals up the tailshaft when it is in. When it is out oil runs out if you raise the front of the transmission above the height of the tailshaft..

Boy, oh boy I was hoping someone was going to say that...Phew. Many thanks. In short, if you do not have that yoke pushed in, liquid is coming out when it is lower than the front. I feel a whole lot better...

Oil spills
I keep a spare yoke to put in the tail shaft when we pull trannies.
