Long pilot bushing
Has anyone with a TKO 600 in a sm blk Ford needed a long pilot bushing? I'm told by a rep at Tilton that my clutch clearance problem is due to me using a Lakewood bellhousing and a Centerforce clutch with my hydraulic bearing assy. The housing is shorter, the clutch is bigger, thus I need a .250" spacer in front of the bellhousing to gain space, and a long pilot bushing for the crankshaft since this pulls the tranny back.
The neat part, I can't find anybody who makes a long pilot bushing for a ford engine. I'll have to have one made. Has anyone run into this before in their Tremec swap??? Wow... Steve Riley |
