PA/NJ Spring Event
Guys & Gals,
Tired of the Winter Blues? *Been looking at that lonely Cobra sitting in the garage and yearning to take it out for a ride? *Well, I think I have the cure for you! *How about a Cobra Spring Fling? *Jon Kay, Fred Yarima and I are putting together a Cobra Tour event together for May 2 (rain date May 3) that is sure to wipe away those winter blues and put a smile on your face! *Attached is the itinerary of the event. *Please let me know by March 28 if you plan on attending this event so that we can finalize our plans and all the details of the event. We look forward to see you all and getting those Cobras out for some much needed exercise! Cobra Spring Fling Saturday 8:30 AM, May 2, 2015 (Rain Date – Sunday 10:00 AM, May 3, 2015) * Itinerary 8:30 AMMeet in the parking lot at Washington’s Crossing State Park parking lot (PA side) off River Road (Rt. 32). *Here we will organize into groups with group leaders. Link to Washington’s Crossing Park: http://www.washingtoncrossingpark.org/ * 9:00 AMDepart Washington’s Crossing State Park and travel along scenic Rt. 32 and country roads to America on Wheels Museum in Allentown, PA. Link to America on Wheels Museum: http://americaonwheels.org/ * 10:30 AMTour and enjoy the museum. *In addition to the exhibits on display in the museum, they are also planning on having an exhibit of heavy construction equipment outside on display: http://americaonwheels.org/wp-conten...etting-zoo.pdf * 12:30 PMMake our way down to the Frick Boat Club (adjacent to the museum) for a group picnic. *The boat club located along the scenic Lehigh River has a picnic grove with covered pavilions, picnic tables and gas grills. *We will be able to bring our own food and drink and enjoy a “Cobra Tailgate Party”. * * Rain date times all change by 1.5 hours due to the museum Sunday opening time of 12:00 noon * If you want to attend, let us know If you have a passenger Regards, Mike Woskey & Jon Kay |
Wanted to bring the P-51 Cobra out for this event, but I'm on a plane to Houston. Damn! Catch you next time.
