Do you guys meet anywhere? I would love to get to see some of your cars and talk Cobras! I'll bring my restored 74 CJ5 Jeep. I notice you do track events. Do you have any planned? Looking foreword to sharing Cobra information and getting to hear more about your cars! Bill O'Brien |
Cobra428,
Welcome to the most fun and diverse group of people you could find anywhere. The DVSF 111 is coming up in June in Ohio and there will be several hundered Cobras there if everyone goes that plans to. Bill this club has members from all over the world and you can ask any question and someone will be able to help you. Also a lot of good natured B. S. goes on. There are several people who have joined that don't have Cobras yet. This is a great place to talk to people and ask questions and really helpdecide just what you want in a car. Good to have you. Search the forums, ask questions, and look at pictures. Ron :) :) :) |
Pull up a chair, these guys will turn your itch into a burn.

New addict!
Welcome to the addiction for which there is no cure. You'll find that there are many of us in the Tri-State Area, especially up there in North Joisey.
We definitely do track events. Hopefully his honor, Mr. Cranky himself, will chime in soon. Club Cranky runs open track events all over. Watkins Glen, Pocono, Lime Rock, VIR. I'll be hitting Pocono with the Club. We love to race!! As for get togethers, there aren't many "formal" meetings or gatherings. Three big ones coming up you may want to mark on your calenders. 1. DVSFIII- a HUGE Cobra gathering in Columbus, Ohio. June 20-22. It is to benefit Team Jenny (read more about it on Factory Five Website). Several hundred Cobras will be there. 2. Carlisle, Pa- the national kit car show. It is in late may. Carlisle, Pa., near Harrisburg. It is a very large show, and most of the Cobra manufacturers show up with their cars. Great for browsing and shopping, lots of Cobras. 3. Personal plug here- Cobra Revolution. Saturday, June 7th, Valley Forge Park. Valley Forge, Pa. Lots of Cobra owners, including many from the Tri-State group will be attending. BBQ, food, fun, cruise route. Casual and a good way to meet owners, check out the cars and recruit some new Club Cranky members. Hope to see you soon. Steve |

BlueRooster,
We generally havre a few meetings throughout the year...Mostly at cruises and shows, with the first being up at the Route 23 Automall on April 27th (Ford show in Butler)....There are usually several Cobras (real and replica) that show up for this event..... Bill S. |
Thanks Mrmustang, Ill definately have to make one of those. Well I changed my mind for the 3rd time now in a little over a year. I think I am going to ask ERA to build me a roller.
*they are high quality *they are within 2 hours of home *If its done right, they're one of the most accurate kits on the market *I think Ill actually have the dollars to make it happen within two years. Someone play devils advocate please and tell me why I shouldnt do this, or tell me a better way. Quite frankly, choosing which kit is the hardest decision for me. Probably harder than building the thing. Thanks for any responses. |
Blue,
If you want to check out my A & C Cobra just give me a call. Build site is http://www.priveye.com/cobra.htm Roscoe |
