powder coating

does anyone suggest a certain powder coating color for the headers, that would greatly reduce the bluish coloring. I ,m looking for something in a chrome finsh if there is such thing.

Coatings

Check out Airborne Coatings in CT. They do a nice Silver Ceramic Coating. I'll try to find their number for you.

The silver ceramic is very nice and very durable. It also polishes up like new.

Gcruz,

There are several options on coatings. Ceramics, Jet Hot Coatings and Chroming. I've chosen the stainless jet hot coating simply because it's coated inside as well. I'm not familiar with the coating establishments in your area. If you don't have someone selected, you might try pulling up Jet Hot Coatings on your computer.

A regular 'powder coat' will not hold up to the heat on the headers and pipes. Check the warranty on the company you have do them. Some are much better. Some are crap. This I know from experience.
