Carlisle?
Are any of you going to go to the replica show at Carlisle on the May 23rd? I think that is a Sunday. I will be going up, but I don't have a Cobra, yet.

There will be lots of us at Carlisle. The "big" day is Saturday. I think they fold up the tent fairly early on Sunday. I'll probably be there Saturday. See ya soon. Steve |

Have any of you guys gotten any information from Carlisle about any Cobra exhibitors? I called them several months ago and was told this show is limited to "import kits only." The examples they gave were VWs, Jags, Ferraris, Lamborghinis (sp),.....No US cars.....
Some say that the info Carlisle is giving out over the phone is wrong...anyone know for sure of a manufacturer (Cobra) saying positively they'll be there???? |

Let's face it, if they limit the vendors of the kit cars to just those not based in the US, there would be very view vendors in which to draw in a crowd........I have never heard of the folks running Carlisle Productions from excluding any manufacturer that wants to exhibit during one of their shows/events.............If your worried about ERA coming or not, then call ERA and ask them.......... ERA will be there (just learned), just bad info from the Carlisle people (perhaps they never heard of a Cobra except the Mustang version). Now, if I can just find someone to take my hunting dogs and reinstate my motel reservations (or camp out somewhere).....

That car's not bad looking, but nearly as nice as titanium and black color scheme.;) Unfortunately, I won't be able to make Carlisle this year (if all goes according to plan, I should have a 1 week old baby at home by then), I would have liked to stop by said Hi and met you in person. Maybe next year. Good luck with the sales. |

I will be there for the weekend. Looking forward to it. Will be my first time there for the Kit Car Show. Was there a number of years ago to the Ford Show.
