L.I. Cobras yesterday was cool!!
Was at LI Raceway yesterday, and saw some real nice Cobra's. Glad to see they were racing their a**es off. Was a good turn out for whatever club sponsered them. Also saw a 69 Shelby 428 Cobra Jet ...was a real nice car, and a real nice guy...ran in high 14's.
For those of you who might have been there, I was the guy driving the 69' RAIV GTO hardtop, stocker except for wheels, tires and headers..ran a best of 12.48@106 mph. I am also the guy promoting the Factory Stock drags at Englishtown, November 13th www.factorystockmusclecars.com Too bad LI track is closing in next week or so, was great to see you Cobra guys running though...keep it up, and any FAST Class or Factory Stock muscle cars...you are more then welcome to bring your car down for the final last blast of the year November 13th Raceway Park...Englishtown,NJ Every entry gets a trophy! |
Gonzo ,we are told horror stories that we will not pass tech at English town.Do they have different rules for F.A.S.T catgory. What are the chances of us slipping into that class? We have two cars in the elevens most running high 12's and 13's.
