Calling Cranky

You have a PM.

BlueRooster 01-27-2005 05:03 PM

Hey Mike, I am going to Beaverrun this May. You up for it? Maybe even to watch??

I would like to, but it depends on when are you going. May is going to be a tough month for me. I have 2 weddings to go to and my daughter's birthday all on different weekends. Let me know exactly which weekend you plan on going and I will see if I am around.

Hey Cranky, you have another PM.:)

Might I suggest Watkins Glen August 3rd & 4th with Apex. That or the Miata club at Pocono the two days before that....Or all four as I am planning :D ......

Bill,
Does the Miata club welcome all kinds of cars at their events? Do they run with Miatas or on their own?

Steve

Steve,

They run on their own, but welcome other car club members (in this case the NJRC has some crossover with them) as they do not have enough members willing to put their cars on the track to make economic sense.

Bill S.

PS: So do we get to see pics of your new Miata........Give me a week and I'll show you pics of my new (old) track car :D ........

Bill,
There is no new Miata. Long story. I committed to buying it, but he couldn't locate the title. In the meantime, I offered to let the second highest bidder on Ebay buy it instead of me, and he accepted. So I never actually bought the car. I wound up buying the '96 Honda Accord and am very happy that I did. Nice solid great running family sedan that fits our needs perfectly. Plus 30mpg doesn't hurt. It won't be seeing any track duty. :D

Steve,

A second set of rims with more aggressive tires, a set of Eibach progressive springs, and a decent set of shocks and the new Honda could see track time........
