I'm open to any good meeting spots if anyone has other ideas.

Ziggy, my car has SSside pipes and I stay away fromthe shore, I hate the traffic. I will be good to meet you and see you car, we will ERA 647, 649 and 650 in the same caravan.

Dane, where do you want to meet? Maybe it would be best for most of the people to meet in Morristown their seems to be more people coming from that area.

Ziggy, if you want I can meet you in morristown first...its a little more central. The bagel Garden is just past the somerville circle, its not hard to get to, but it's pretty easy to miss. I watched Chappie drive right by...with 8 Cobras lined up in front. and I'm the one that needs a map.

BTW, you need to get familiar with the roads west of 78. They are some of the best driving roads in NJ.

I wasn't using a map that day. And besides, you guys were hiding on the wrong side of the street;)

And last year you got lost following Dane to CRII, do you commute by train?

Chaplin 05-22-2005 06:44 PM

No, but guess I should:rolleyes:

jamvan 05-22-2005 06:54 PM

Dane

I can hook up with you in Morristown if you like and we can travel south from there to the meeting spot. Lets firm up detail within the next week or so.

Just dont follow me to work....you may never get there.

Jamvan: If you want we can meet on South St at the JPMorganChase branch parking lot. Its the big brick building on the corner of South St and Madison Ave, right next to Jimmy's haunted Restaurant. We can jump right on 287 from there. Everyone from the north should congregate there first @ 9:15, then we can meet up with Mike/ERA649 at the Bagel Garden @10:15. What do you think Guys?

Dane

Chaplin 05-22-2005 08:00 PM

that sounds good to me.

JWheaton 05-22-2005 08:15 PM

geesus -- this sounds like a NJ Transit schedule happening.

9:15 here
9:48 there
10:15 stop for coffee and bagels

I was starting to like the new direction of the thread.

What kind of stogey you going to be smoking?

Can you light a stogey off the sidepipes?

JW

I'll join up in the caravan.......where and .....ah what time?

BlueRooster 05-22-2005 09:22 PM

Meet us in Morristown around 9:15....bring stogies.

JWheaton 05-22-2005 09:57 PM

WIll be there Dane.

Chapagne -- Don't think I'll have plates by then, but I am bringing my car.

I still need to send in my registration stuff and some money to Steve.

Dane:

Time and place looks good for me. Plan on seeing you all there at Morristown at 9:15am.

Jim

ERA649 05-23-2005 05:04 PM

JW, I think it was Cohiba. A nice cigar for a Cobra ride or a bull fight. And send Steve and email so he knows your coming.

Dane, so you northern guys want to meet me at the Bagel Garden @ 10:15.. Do you wnat me to map a back road path to CRII from there?

Mike

USrowboy 05-23-2005 06:01 PM

HMMMM, a "back road path to CRII" ???
No wonder you guys get lost!!!

: /

ERA649 05-23-2005 07:35 PM

Ziggy,
They get lost, but sometimes I don't know exactly where I am.

jamvan 05-24-2005 07:09 AM

If you alll like, I can map out the directions to CRIII or you can all follow me. Knowing how well you guys did last year, I am not to sure I want to be following either of you.

Jim

ERA649 05-24-2005 06:21 PM

Jim,
Try to pick nice county roads, but what ever you pick is fine with me.

Mike

BlueRooster 05-24-2005 06:56 PM

Yeah Jim, whatever you pick is fine. South of Flemington is where I slipped up. The roads are twisty and awesome....but difficult to navigate. We weren't lost as much as heading in the wrong direction for a couple of miles. If the rain wasn't as threatening as it was, we wouldn't have given up as easily as we did. As long as the sun is out, who cares?

Is anyone driving with their wives? I think I have mine convinced to go.

Dane

ERA649 05-24-2005 07:05 PM

BTW, I know the roads in the area and was never involved in getting lost or helping anyone getting lost. The rain made the meet up for CRII a mess - on again off again affair. I was just picking on Chappy. At the last Bagel Garden meeting no one got lost ( after the meet up).

Chaplin 05-24-2005 07:06 PM

Jim-
Whatever you map out is fine.

Dane- I was just busting your chops about getting lost. I didn't really care because we got out on some nice roads any way.

Any by the way, I think my wife may be coming along also. She'll be happy to know there's another wife going along for the ride.

JWheaton 05-24-2005 09:30 PM

My Wife is Going

I am 95% sure that my wife will be going as well.
