May 21th gathering in Phillipsburg, NJ
I am trying to gauge any interest for a May 21 impromptu get together in Philipsburg, NJ at the opening of a very upscale car wash. The owner is a friend and a Cobra nut. Actually has a Cobra nose on the wall.
He has scheduled a big event with firetrucks, HS band, balloon rides etc for noon to 3pm. Location is a mile off exit 3 on Route 78. Will have refreshments. Wants to make the Cobras a center piece. Is willing to give a case of Shell Rotella T oil to the "best" of the participants. I know Carlise is that weekend. If there is a show of interest by April 29th he will use us as a centerpiece of his advertisements. Would make for a nice cruise up/down the Delaware. Please let me know your thoughts. Jack |

Hey - might he have nubile young wimmen, clad in not-more-than-6-square-inches-of-cloth at this fine event too?? If the answer is affirmative, I just might forego Carlisle to be up in P'burg very, very early, ensuring a fine spot. :p |
Event is still on for Sunday, May 21. Should be quite a show. I e3xplained the Carlise/Hersey event impact. Said cars if coming will show up around noon.
They will have food, firetrucks, drag cars, hot air ballons, HS band, etc. Heck if weather permits might be interesting ride if nothng else. Jack |
