Trailer or towing company help?

Incredibly after 7 months of the build process I brought my car to DMV and it failed the titling inspection!!! UUURrrrrghhh....

Long story short I need to get the car back to Long Island ASAP for the mechanic to address the issues.

Can someone recommend a tow company that they have used that I can trust? The shop can't get out to me with their trailer for a month and I want this done ASAP.

Thanks!

I'll post up the details of my miserable experience once I can do it without spitting nails at the screen

What did your car fail for?

Excaliber...that made me laugh out loud...but going over the GW bridge won't be easy without plates!

They failed me for about 10 items...once I get all of this sorted out I'll do a long detailed thread on it...

Is this the car in Rockaway, NJ?

Your location...That and just before I moved out of WML in Rockaway, someone on Stonybrook Road had a SPF roller delivered....Thought that might have been you, guess not.

Trailer wise, it helps to know where in "northern, NJ" you are as there are roughly 50+ of us (ok, minus myself these days) in the northern half of the state that have Cobras, roughly half of those folks have trailers (open and enclosed). Some might even loan you one if you have a tow vehicle suited for it. However, if nobody steps up to the plate, and you are located close enough to the Netcong area, then you can always call Performance Trailer as they rent open and enclosed trailers, again providing that you have a two vehicle that can safely handle it.

Come down to Washington's Crossing, PA this Saturday for the Revolution, plenty of the NJ/PA crowd will be there.

PS: My friend Olli is in Montvale and has a trailer, I'll clue him in to this thread and let him contact you..........

I would LOVE to come Saturday but that's when I have to trailer the car back to Long Island...just figures...if I had passed inspection I would have driven there!! Uuuurrrrggghhh.

Thanks for the help on the trailers but a friend from the Porsche boards offered to bring it out there for me in his enclosed trailer.
