Very cool. I saw he was off line on that one corner and it just compounded from there until he spun out.

My car started life as a dedicated SCCA race car before I bought it. I always assumed the pinned hood and trunk lid were done to save weight. It wasn't until I saw this video that I realized there are other reasons to pin the hood.

I guess this should have been expected since he was over driving the line he was taking...one, that for a Cobra, was probably not the best choice. I have seen folks unfamiliar with 90 in wheelbase cars (and too much HP) make the same mistake time and again.
