Which spindle to use to correct bump steer ??
 
Never mind it's not the spindle the problem,it's my steering rack that was mounted in the wrong spot on the frame creating awkward
angle in relation to the spindle thus creating awful bump steer. I saw my fellow DD Cobra owner's car here and their rack is mounted forward on the frame lining up with where the tie rod bolts which looks right, I'll fix it myself. I bought a roller chassis back then,
who assembled that ????

Need to reposition the steering rack.

The inner tierod ball joint..needs to be in line with the pivot point of the lower control arm ............l
and if the rack is two inches.(just picked a number) for instance , higher then the control arm then the spindle should
position the outer tierod ball joint two inches above the control arm, lower spindle ball joint
and so on........
.........so if your spindle is ok ,just remount the rack accordingly....the length of the steering arm on the spindle will also alter your steering ratio or effort required ..........so many variables......
