Carlisle
Mike:
Will you be representing TTR in May? Would like to see your offerings up close. Regards, |
Yup,
We'll be there. Don and D&D are setting up a display trailer and a roller or two. I will be with them representing Turn Ten Racing, Inc. and answering questions and handing out literature. This will be my first ever show as a dealer so I hope I do well. TTR is still very small, but I hope to have my own booth next year. I think if customers get to see the EVO 5 chassis and body they will be impressed. I will be there to answer all of the questions they may have and so will Don. If you would like any information before the show please email me, post here or give me a call. Thanks for starting this thread. I've been so busy I forgot to do it myself. Hope to see you there. :D --Mike / Turn Ten Racing, Inc. |
Mike:
Great news. I'll be looking forward to meeting you at the event. It would also be a great venue to get some eyes on your A&C if you've been debating the thought. Catch you there, |
All:
Wanted to let you know that I had the chance to chat w/Mike a bit at Carlisle. He appears to be a class act and poised to deliver a quality product along with the customer service that this industry depends on. Mike: Really enjoyed speaking w/you on Sunday. Hope you had a safe trip back home and on to your next event. Best regards! |

Hi Al and All,
It was a pleasure meeting a few of the Club Cobra members in person as well as many people who are just starting the replica build journey. We had a great time and we seem to draw a lot of people to our little spot just behind the BDR guys (By the way the BDR guys are a fine group and a lot of fun to talk too.). D&D brought down a beautiful complete EVO 4 car with a very nice all leather hand stitched interior. It was done in a very modern style and had a top notch paint job. I will be posting more pictures later both here at CC and on our web site. We had a little set back as far as our EVO 5 roller chassis we were going to bring down. The frame was suppose to be back from powder coat on Thursday with just enough time to put the parts on it, but it never made it in time. We ended up taking a bare frame off of the jigs and bringing it down instead. This did not seem to matter to the folks who took a look at it and it gave a view of the entire frame. Carlisle was a learning experience for me. I had figured that we would have more interest in our EVO 5 chassis that in the EVO 4 because it was designed to give you maximum performance. What I found was that 80% of people we talked to would rather have the extra space, trunk room and ride feel of the EVO 4. Every time I opened the trunk I was told it looked to be the largest one available. I am going to have to check that but I hope that is true. Don had to make IRS a standard on the EVO 4 in order to get all of that space and most didn¡¦t seem to mindƒº. We are making preparations for London, but we still do not know if we are going. I am waiting to here back about vendor space. I will post when we are 100% sure. I am also trying to complete our display car for that show. Spy photos and information will be posted on our site soon. I had a great time and saw some amazing replicas and kits. For those of you who have not gone to Carlisle, You have to do it at least once. Thanks, :D --Mike / Turn Ten Racing, Inc. |
I am sorry I missed meeting you -- I was only there Friday afternoon for a while with the boss -- no time to dally.
